Community
We’re fortunate in Rooiels to have a small community with deep ties. Some of these ties go back decades, yet the village is also welcoming to newcomers. Love for Rooiels is the one thing that everyone has in common, and it can be seen in the care and contribution that so many people make to the village. From maintaining gardens and village infrastructure, to keeping our beach clean, sharing knowledge about the local fauna, flora or environment to jumping into action to extinguish a fire, Rooielsers show up when the village needs them.
