Membership Information
The Rooiels Ratepayers Association (RERA) exists to represent and support the interests of ratepayers and residents in Rooiels. By becoming a member, you help strengthen RERA’s voice when engaging with local authorities, contribute to informed and constructive community decision-making, and support initiatives that protect the village’s character, environment, and way of life.

Membership Options
RERA offers two types of membership to include all residents and those with an interest in the village.
🗣️ Ordinary Membership
Open to all ratepayers or their authorised representatives. Ordinary Members have full voting rights at General Meetings and play an active role in shaping the association’s priorities.
Annual fee: R300 per household
👤Associate Membership
Open to individuals with a connection to the community, such as non-resident family members of ratepayers, long-term renters or anyone with an interest in the village. Associate Members may contribute to consultations and discussions but do not have voting rights.
Annual fee: R150 per member
